Dating back to the late 1800s, The Humble Daisy, our first restoration project was completed in 2008. An award-winning traditional Irish thatched cottage, it was restored with every effort made to retain original features including a thatched roof, sash windows, and stone fireplace. The original parlour remains intact. Drawing on the skills of local craftsmen, we were able to maintain the style of the cottage built by our forebears, and it is one of the oldest structures in our village today. Situated down a grassy, country lane from the lough, this beautiful cottage provides a cosy hideaway for country pursuits and wild swimming.

*Booking periods run Saturday to Saturday
*Rates are per week
*Short breaks available off-season with a minimum charge of €450 for a 2/3 night stay.
*A deposit of 25% is required to secure a booking with the balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.
*Tariff includes use of the rowing boat

Reservations
- We require a 25% deposit payable via bank transfer to secure a booking.
- Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. We do not accept payment by card.
Arrival – Check-in from 4pm.

Children
- All ages welcome.
- Highchair/travel cot available on request
Access – All ground floor including one bedroom/en-suite accessible – no steps.
Smoking – Smoking not permitted throughout the house.
Dogs
- Dogs accepted by prior arrangement.
- Dogs must never be left alone on the property.
- Charges may apply for damage to furnishings.
*We advise taking out travel insurance to cover any unexpected amendments to holiday plans.
